We’re just HOURS away from the (*pre-taped…BOOOO!) 2012 Olympic ceremony Royals!!!!
I’m EXTRA hyped for this year’s Olympic Games! For some reason, I think the USA is going to KILL IT this year! No offense to my international readers…just showing love for the home team :) The Olympics always feels like this world-wide party. You root for your country and the supper-human athletes that represent it. What pride! What joy!!
I can remember as a child being GLUED to the Olympic games during the Gymnastics and Ice Skating competitions. The competitors seemed larger than life. And they still do! This event might only happen every four years, but it’s well worth the wait. It dominates not only the media and advertisements/promotions…but fashion as well! *Unfortunately for Americans, NBC isn’t broadcasting the Opening Ceremony live, but rather on tape delay as part of its primetime Olympic coverage, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET. And then NBC is tape-delaying that again for the West Coast, where it will begin its broadcast at 7:30 p.m. PT — 6 1/2 hours after the Opening Ceremony began.
